Our Guarantee Policy
Our Guarantee — In Writing, In Plain English
Not a promise. Not a policy buried in small print. A formal, written commitment that travels home with you.
The most common concern we hear from patients considering dental treatment abroad is simple: “What if something goes wrong after I fly home?”
It’s the right question to ask. And you deserve a real answer — not vague reassurance, not marketing language, not a terms-and-conditions document you’d need a lawyer to read.
This page is that answer.
Here is exactly what we guarantee, for how long, under what conditions, and precisely what happens if you ever need to use it.
The Short Version
If any treatment we arrange develops a fault covered under this guarantee, we will organise and fund the correction — at no cost to you.
That’s it. No hidden clauses. No “it depends.” No chasing paperwork.
The rest of this page explains exactly what “covered” means, what the process looks like, and what — honestly — falls outside the guarantee. We believe you should know all of it before you book.
What’s Covered — Treatment by Treatment
Every treatment is different. So every guarantee period is different. Here is the complete breakdown.
Dental Implants
Guarantee period: 5 years from date of placement
What’s covered:
- Implant failure (osseointegration failure — the implant does not bond with the bone)
- Structural failure of the implant fixture itself (fracture or deformation under normal use)
- Crown failure directly attributable to the implant (where the implant is the cause)
- Abutment failure under normal function
What this means in practice:
If your implant fails within the guarantee period for any of the reasons above, we arrange a replacement implant at no cost to you. This includes the clinical procedure, materials and any associated laboratory work.
What’s not covered:
(See “What’s Not Covered” below for the full list — we’ve made it as clear as possible)
All-on-4 & All-on-6 Implants
Guarantee period: 5 years on implant fixtures · 3 years on the prosthetic bridge
What’s covered:
- Implant fixture failure (as above)
- Structural fracture of the permanent bridge under normal function
- Significant colour change or surface deterioration of the permanent bridge beyond normal wear
- Abutment screw loosening requiring clinical correction
What this means in practice:
Full-arch implant cases are complex. Our guarantee covers the core clinical investment — the implants and the permanent structure attached to them. Minor adjustments and screw tightening (a routine part of implant maintenance) are covered within the first 12 months at no charge.
Zirconia Crowns
Guarantee period: 3 years from date of fitting
What’s covered:
- Crown fracture or chipping under normal biting function
- Crown debonding (crown coming loose) without patient-caused trauma
- Significant colour mismatch versus the agreed shade (assessed against the shade record taken on Day 1)
- Crown failure requiring replacement due to manufacturing defect
E-Max & Porcelain Crowns
Guarantee period: 3 years from date of fitting
What’s covered:
- Fracture or chipping under normal function
- Debonding without trauma
- Significant shade deviation from the agreed record
Porcelain Veneers & Laminates
Guarantee period: 3 years from date of bonding
What’s covered:
- Veneer debonding (veneer coming away from the tooth surface) without trauma
- Fracture under normal function
- Significant colour change not attributable to patient dietary habits
Composite Veneers
Guarantee period: 3 years from date of treatment
What’s covered:
- Fracture or chipping under normal function
- Significant discolouration beyond expected minor ageing
Full Mouth Rehabilitation
Guarantee period: Varies by component — implants, crowns and veneers each carry their respective guarantee periods as listed above.
A full written breakdown specific to your treatment plan is issued with your post-treatment documentation.
Teeth Whitening
Guarantee period: Whitening results are excluded from the written guarantee — results are lifestyle-dependent
What’s covered:
- Significant failure to achieve the agreed shade target (assessed against pre-treatment records)
Note: Whitening results naturally fade over time with diet and lifestyle. The guarantee covers clinical failure to achieve results — not natural fading over months and years, which is expected and normal.

If You Need to Use the Guarantee — Here’s Exactly What Happens
We want this process to be as clear as the guarantee itself. If you believe a covered issue has arisen, this is what you do — step by step.
Step 1 — Contact Your Coordinator
Message your patient coordinator directly on WhatsApp or by email. Describe what you’ve noticed and when it started. Send a photo if possible.
Response time: We aim to respond within 24 hours.
You do not need to know whether your issue is covered at this stage. Just tell us what’s happened.
Step 2 — Initial Remote Assessment
Your coordinator will share your details with the treating clinic. In most cases, the clinic’s dentist will request:
- A clear photo of the affected area
- An X-ray (your UK dentist can provide this — we’ll tell you exactly what type is needed)
- A description of any symptoms — pain, sensitivity, movement, discolouration
Based on this, the clinic assesses whether the issue is likely covered under your guarantee. You’ll receive a response within 24 hours.
Step 3 — Outcome
If the issue is covered: We arrange correction at the clinic. If a return visit is required, we cover:
- The clinical procedure and all associated materials
- Hotel accommodation for the duration of the corrective visit (for cases requiring an in-person visit)
- Airport transfers
You are responsible for your flights. We will work with you to find the most convenient timing.
If the issue requires further assessment: In some cases, an in-person clinical examination is needed before a determination can be made. We will discuss next steps with you and ensure you are not left without a clear path forward.
If the issue is not covered under the guarantee: We will explain clearly why — referencing the relevant section of your guarantee document — and advise on the most cost-effective options for resolution. We do not disappear when the answer is not straightforward.
Step 4 — Resolution
Correction is carried out by the same clinic, or a clinic within our accredited partner network. All corrective work is documented and added to your treatment records.
You will never be charged for work that falls under your guarantee. This is not negotiable.
What’s Not Covered — And Why We’re Telling You This Upfront
Every guarantee has limits. We believe you should know them clearly before you book — not discover them when you need to make a claim.
These are the situations that fall outside the guarantee. They are reasonable, industry-standard exclusions — not small print designed to avoid responsibility.
Trauma and Accidental Damage
Damage resulting from an accident, fall, blow to the face or sports injury is not covered. This applies to crowns, veneers and implant structures. The treatment performed was sound — external force is outside any clinical guarantee.
Neglect of Aftercare Instructions
Your aftercare guide sets out specific instructions — foods to avoid, cleaning routines, bite guard use where relevant. Failure to follow these instructions that directly causes or contributes to treatment failure is not covered.
This is why we provide detailed written aftercare, not a brief verbal summary.
Failure to Attend Recommended Follow-Up
For implant cases especially, routine check-ups are important. If a developing issue goes undetected because follow-up was not attended, the guarantee may not apply to the resulting failure.
Treatment by a Third-Party Dentist
If you undergo additional dental treatment — crowns, fillings, adjustments — on the guaranteed teeth by another dentist without prior consultation with us, and that treatment contributes to failure, the guarantee is voided for those specific teeth.
If your UK dentist identifies a concern, contact us first. We will liaise with them directly.
Pre-Existing Conditions Not Disclosed
Medical conditions affecting healing or implant success — uncontrolled diabetes, active periodontal disease, certain medications — that were not disclosed prior to treatment and that directly affect outcomes are not covered.
This is why we ask. Full disclosure protects you.
Normal Wear and Ageing
Gradual, expected changes over time — minor shade ageing in composites, surface polish reduction in crowns — are not defects. They are the natural behaviour of all dental materials. The guarantee covers clinical failure, not the passage of time.
Chewing on Non-Food Items
Using teeth as tools — opening bottles, biting nails, chewing pen lids — that causes fracture or failure is not covered. This applies universally.
A note on this section: We include this information prominently because we believe you deserve to know it. A guarantee with hidden exclusions is not a guarantee — it is a sales tactic. If any of these exclusions raise questions about your specific situation, ask us before you book.
The Materials Behind the Guarantee
A guarantee is only as strong as the materials it covers. Here is what we use — and why it matters.
Implant Systems
Nobel Biocare One of the world’s leading implant manufacturers, with over 60 years of clinical research. Used in our implant and All-on-4 cases where specified. Nobel Biocare implants carry the manufacturer’s own global warranty.
Straumann The world’s most published implant system. Swiss-engineered, with a clinical success rate consistently above 98% in independent studies. Your batch certificate is yours to keep.
Dentsply Sirona A trusted global brand with a comprehensive implant portfolio, particularly for full-arch restorations.
You will be told which brand is being used in your case before treatment begins. You receive the brand certificate and batch number in your post-treatment pack.
Crown & Veneer Materials
Ivoclar e.max The global benchmark for all-ceramic crowns and veneers. Exceptional strength and optical properties — indistinguishable from natural teeth under normal lighting conditions.
Vita Suprinity / Vita Zahnfabrik A leading German ceramic brand, used across our crown and veneer cases. Known for durability and shade consistency.
Upcera / Katana Zirconia High-translucency zirconia for posterior crowns requiring maximum strength alongside aesthetic quality.
Why Brand Matters for Your Guarantee
Global brands are traceable, regulated and independently tested. If a material fails, the manufacturer’s data supports the assessment. Clinics using unbranded or unverifiable materials cannot offer the same level of accountability.
We do not work with clinics that use materials we cannot verify.
The Clinics Behind the Guarantee
We only work with clinics that meet independently audited international standards. Here is what those standards mean in practice.
JCI Accreditation (Joint Commission International)
The gold standard for international healthcare quality. JCI accreditation requires clinics to meet over 1,000 standards across patient safety, infection control, clinical processes and staff qualifications. Only a small minority of dental clinics in Turkey hold this accreditation.
Ask us which of our partner clinics hold JCI accreditation — we’ll tell you before you book.
ISO 9001 Certification
An internationally recognised quality management standard. ISO 9001 certification means a clinic’s processes — from patient intake to post-treatment documentation — are independently audited and consistently applied.
Turkish Dental Association Membership
All our partner clinics operate under the regulatory framework of Turkey’s national dental authority, with licensed and registered practitioners. Dentist registration numbers are available on request.
Our Own Vetting Process
Beyond accreditation, every clinic in our network has been physically visited and assessed by our team. We review:
- Sterilisation and infection control protocols
- Equipment and imaging technology
- Patient communication and aftercare systems
- Review history and complaint records
- Staff qualifications and continuing education
Accreditation is the minimum. Our standards go further.
Your UK Dentist Can Continue Your Care — Seamlessly
One of the practical concerns first-time patients raise is continuity: “Will my dentist at home be able to look after me after I’ve had treatment abroad?”
The answer is yes — and we make it straightforward.
What You Take Home
Every patient leaves with a complete post-treatment pack in English, containing:
- Full clinical notes from every appointment
- Pre- and post-treatment X-rays (in standard digital format — compatible with UK dental software)
- 3D CT scan files where applicable (implant cases)
- Material brand names, batch numbers and certificate copies
- Shade records for crowns and veneers
- A written aftercare guide with timeline and instructions
- The treating dentist’s direct contact details
What Your UK Dentist Can Do With It
Your UK dentist can:
- Review your treatment records without any gaps in your dental history
- Take their own X-rays and compare against your baseline records
- Monitor implant integration at routine check-ups
- Perform routine maintenance (scale and polish, check-ups) without issue
- Contact the treating clinic directly if they need clarification — we facilitate this
If Your UK Dentist Has a Concern
If your dentist identifies something that warrants attention, the process is straightforward:
- Ask your dentist to document their findings in writing
- Contact your coordinator with the documentation
- We share it with the treating clinic for assessment
- You receive a clear response and, if needed, a correction plan
You are never navigating this alone.
A Note for Sceptical UK Dentists
Some UK dentists are cautious about treatment performed abroad — understandably so. The documentation we provide is designed to give them everything they need to assess and monitor your treatment with confidence.
If your dentist has specific questions, they are welcome to contact our clinical team directly. We support that conversation.
What Happened When Patients Actually Used the Guarantee
Most patients never need to use their guarantee. But some do. Here is what that experience looked like — honestly.
Karen B., 52 — Sheffield, UK
Treatment: Single dental implant Issue: Crown loosened 4 months after treatment Outcome: Refitted at no charge on a return visit
“I noticed the crown felt slightly different about four months after I got home. I messaged my coordinator — honestly half-expecting to be fobbed off. Within a day, she’d been in touch with the clinic and had an assessment back to me.
They asked for an X-ray from my UK dentist, which confirmed the crown had partially debonded. They arranged for me to come back — covered my hotel for two nights — and the dentist refitted it in one appointment.
I paid for my flight. That was it. The whole thing was sorted within three weeks of me first noticing the problem.”
James L., 44 — Cardiff, UK
Treatment: Hollywood Smile — 10 veneers Issue: One veneer chipped 6 weeks after treatment (later attributed to a pre-existing grinding habit) Outcome: Partially covered — replacement veneer fitted, patient contributed to cost of bite guard
“I want to be honest about this because I think it’s useful. One of my veneers chipped — and when we looked into it, my grinding was likely a factor, which hadn’t been fully disclosed beforehand.
The clinic didn’t refuse to help. They replaced the veneer at a reduced cost and fitted me with a night guard. It wasn’t entirely free — but it was fair. And they explained everything clearly rather than just saying ‘not our problem’.
I still recommend them. How a company handles something going slightly wrong tells you more than when everything goes right.”
We include both of these accounts because we believe honesty serves you better than a curated highlight reel. Real guarantees sometimes mean real conversations about what’s covered and what isn’t — and we have those conversations.
Frequently Asked Questions
Do I receive the guarantee document before I pay?
Yes. Your guarantee document is issued as part of your formal treatment proposal — before you pay a deposit. You should read it, question it and confirm you’re satisfied with it before committing to anything.
What if the clinic refuses to honour the guarantee?
We act as your advocate. If a partner clinic declines to honour a legitimate guarantee claim, we escalate — using our contractual relationship with that clinic and, where necessary, third-party resolution. We do not leave patients without recourse. Any clinic that refuses legitimate claims is removed from our network.
Is the guarantee transferable if I move address or change UK dentist?
Yes. The guarantee is attached to you and your treatment records — not to your address or dental practice. Moving home or changing dentist does not affect your coverage.
What if the clinic closes during the guarantee period?
This is a real risk in any industry. Where a partner clinic becomes unable to fulfil a guarantee obligation, we arrange for correction at an alternative clinic within our accredited network. The guarantee obligation transfers to us directly in this event.
Do I need to register the guarantee anywhere?
No. Your guarantee is activated automatically at the point your treatment is completed and your post-treatment pack is issued. Keep your guarantee document and treatment records in a safe place — you may need them years from now.
Can I extend the guarantee period?
Guarantee periods are fixed at the terms listed on this page. However, maintaining regular check-ups (with your UK dentist or during any return visits) and following aftercare instructions is the most effective way to protect the longevity of your treatment — beyond any formal guarantee period.
What happens to my guarantee if I have additional treatment elsewhere?
If another dentist performs work on the guaranteed teeth without prior consultation with us, the guarantee may be voided for those specific teeth. Contact your coordinator before agreeing to additional treatment on guaranteed teeth. In most cases, we can advise and coordinate with your local dentist directly.
A Guarantee You Can Hold in Your Hands
Most clinics mention a guarantee somewhere on their website. Few provide a written document before you book. Fewer still explain — clearly and upfront — what it covers and what it doesn’t.
We do, because we think that’s how it should work.
If anything in this document raises a question about your specific case, treatment or situation — ask us. Before you book, after you’ve read it, at any point.
There are no bad questions. There is no pressure.
